Yeah that setup looks sweet, though Catalyst is right about the crazy pic size. It's like you made it for a movie screen or sth

But I don't get how you guys can keep everything so nice and tidy. My studio corner has a ton of junk all over the place, not to mention wire madness...

I cannot understand the conclusion of your post.
Tempo just uploaded a photo of his Control Room, and didn't say "Ha, I'm a big guy"
Sure it seems he can afford such setup, I mean why not.
I have all respect and understanding for poor musicians, and trying to help them to the best of my abilities. But all this does not negate the fact that there are rich musicians as well, not all rich people are bad, in fact many of them aren't. Being unemployed and self-studying, instead of envy, I try to show gratitude towards what I have now and embrace future endeavours, and if I see another person having something I don't, then I'm happy for them.

I know tempo for quite a while now, and I can only confirm that he's not the person your post is trying to make him.

BTW, excellent setup tempo.

I have a desk similar to yours and had to butcher the top shelf to try and bring the iMac down in height as my neck got sore from looking upwards all the time!
(Ive always found the iMac stand makes the screen too high on the 27" for my liking)

 

Virus and Nord must be quite a pain to fiddle through on the lower right :D

don't hate on people having big expansive setup : You NEVER know for sure what they have been through to gather it.

+ you can make 99% of what this setup does with a small specs macbook and some monitors. it'll just take much longer and more hassle.

 

Can't see any acoustic treatment in the picture, thats why to me it looks more like a producer's room, particularly european ones, though this particular producer doesn't seem to use the modules that much these days, probably partly because of AudioZ *yes*.

But it's nice and clean, properly lighted with those splendid Philips lamps. The kind of room that makes girls go wow

The guy was just sharing his setup, most of us like that. It's nice to get a peek into someone's production environment...that's why we have Mainroom. Something I can never understand is that nobody is forcing you to look, skip it and find a thread you like. What the hell is wrong with people today? Reminds me of YouTube where someone puts up a cool video and the rule is there MUST be at least one person that says some nasty and completely unnecessary shit. I mean your avatar is a peace symbol for god's sake...

OP how long did it take for you to build such an enviable set up?

Must be an wonderful feeling having laid down a tune or 2 to switch the lights off, fire up a smoke, lean back and stare out through the window to the stars if you haven't been inspired by that alone to make tune I'd be surprised & yep I'm jealous, in a good way - something for us all to aspire to - perfecting or hobby.
