Hi

I have installed the smart limit, smart comp and true balance plugins from Sonible.

When I install smart EQ, it is not detected by Reaper or Studio One. So I uninstalled run time 2022 and reinstalled the most recent version. Nothing to do, it does not work. I see it in Studio One but not Reaper but if I place it on a track it does not appear.

So I did a search in Users (user name)/Appdata/Roaming. Folders com.sonible.smartcomp2, for example, are created at installation with a .pls file and sometimes a .JSON file. The folder for Smart EQ does not exist when I install it, either the R2R or Mocha version.


Any idea or solution?

This version works in Studio One without any problems: Sonible.smartEQ3.v1.0.1-RET

The newer versions: Sonible SmartEQ3 v1.2.0-R2R & Sonible SmartEQ3 v1.2.2-R2R cause crashes on some PC's etc.

Epidemico's tip:
Uninstall, delete "sonible_onnxruntime.dll" and "sonible_custom_op_library.dll" from System32, install again. Then it will work.

 

What he said. Also, if it's useful, this is the list of folders used by sonible plugins when installed. I've highlighted the two most unusual. Like @BEAT16 said Epidemico recommended to delete those two files written to the system32 folder. But also a sonible folder is created in program files/ common files (COMMONPROGRAMFILES)

Thank you for this information. It's great! I'll check it out. But it's pretty weird anyway.

 

All Ret links are dead.
The last R2R works in S1 but not Reaper.
I'll try to find Ret on torrent.

And that's what we are here for, for trying to help. Try deleting those two files in system32 folder and reinstall smarteq. Good luck

Hmm, perhaps it's different with the last version. I was going to try it so I'll hit you if I face your problem and manage to fix it.

 

I did it. I think it's why it works in S1. Thx to Beat16.
