A cool program is WIndowsBlinds

 

Anyone who has had enough of the drab Windows interface can bring life to the desktop with WindowBlinds.
"Window Blinds" can change the frames of the windows and thus create every conceivable visual working environment. You have the choice of either using prefabricated themes or your own graphics for them.

these are from the newest version but i think you only need the .idb files.
And the fonts may or may not be needed.(you can create a fonts folder and place them there)
I figured out how to change certain colors, or at least the file where you do (ptcolors) but i can't make heads or tails out of it.

what was the original process?? or how did you do it (replacing the files, i don't remember how to)

 

Just replace and overwrite.
I'm on a p.c though so it may be different files and a different process on mac.

 

Thanks for your contribution! Will it work on AU 12.5 HD version? Also do the tracks name appear correctly ?

Yeah, i use AUs' 12.5 so all my testing is done on it.
The track names appear fine but i don't know how to get the darker grid view.
It's in the ptcolors file i'm sure, i just don't have enough experience with RGB coding to figure it out.

Would you mind posting a screenshot of what you meant by the "darker grid view"? Also one of the edit and mix views so I can have a glance at what changed.
