As far as I understand, U-he synths cr**ked versions had issues. What I heard is that they made it out of notes (or tune) after a while.
Thus, I'm wondering if it's still there or our wizards and witches solved it already.

Witches reverse-engineered the registration system. Correctly generated names paired with working serials equates fully working plugs with no timebombs. Likely a good idea not to let them call home just in case, but as of now... Best part is the plugs aren't patched in any way.

Yeah time will tell. We've seen them done plenty of times before, and Urs always has something sneaky in there they miss.. He actually LIKES doing this stuff, it's kinda like a game to him.

 

Yes, he likes this game. But as I can't test his synth deeply, I don't buy them. I don't buy synthesiser after 14 days trails, synth are too complex to test so fast, and his prices makes me think not twice but 3 or 5 times.
I'm certainly not the only one who think this way.
So his "game" is probably not serving him that good...

 

R2R versions didn't fail me for the last four years.

 

the last releases by RET & R2R were on September-November 2021, and it went through a year period without problem. Since they already went through every calendar day in a year, can confirm everything is fine. 100% sure for Diva (v1.4.5 RET November 2021) atleast, it is on my template and I used it for every single project I've worked with. About the "game", doubt that they will add timebomb after a year usage because that sounds kinda useless and programmers don't have that kind of patience. You either a Buddha or programmer, you can't be both.

 

All legit serials for the uhe plugins except Bazille are posted now on sister site (one legit for a product).. R2R Serial Index Calculator v2.0.0 post. So timebombing is not really a problem anymore. If something goes wrong then it is an official bug!

Grab the official installers v12092 and lower before there get updated (maybe legit serials blacklisted then).
It exist CLAP preview versions v13510 on KvR Forum/Uhe for ACE, Bazille, Diva, Hive, MFM2.
There also exist a great preview of Uhbik v2 plugins!

Grab R2R SIC v2.0 and legit SN's. Calculate your own name if you wish or grab also the corresponding name in the posting. Install and reg it. No need for fire-walling, uhe plugins are not calling home if i'm not wrong!

Well if I understood it right These regged versions or keygenerated are a clone of real users
If they check it digitally I guess they can't see it
But if Some newbies users let the u-he site access they computers maybe Urs will see 100 users named Leon DuPont ( eg)
That's the only fear I have
But it works fully that s nice and as Oly says it will last the time it will last & we could use the synths plainly
I repeat myself but if developers would low the prices more people will buy them
I think more about a student or a youngster who doesn't work what will they do to get money ? Steal ? Deal dope ?

Now I m old I can buy some but not what I d like and I think when I was so poor in the Radium years
We could make music because of them then oxygen zone h2O etc etc
R2R took over the cracking music business with a lot of dexterity and class skills.

U he synths don’t have a 14 day trial period, but you can use them as long as you want in trial, they will just occasionally give out some noise afaik

 

Hello @Wolfgang, with me the U-HE plugins all run very stable.

 

That is the reason Urs plays a couple of minutes like many people does as a resting time, then he´s working at synths most of the time.

He plays with advantage, not worried for the price of rompler or an average synth based on expansions wich are remarkably cheaper and has way more content than a complicated-ugly-ultra expensive Hive or Zebra, i.e. Avenger or Nexus are the way,..any day

 

If Uhe does a new "update" on all synths and plugins it won't work perfectly anymore, but then V.R or R2R will fix that, so it's a cat and mouse game...as always.
I don't get it, why invest so much money in securing vstis with ilok, pace, etc when they all get cracked, at least sooner or later.....and please don't give me "this one special vst never got cracked" rhetoric. Maybe everything isn't released to the public.
