Hi everybody. I got the same problem. I tried everything but there's no way to make it work. I'm on W7 64bits, Kontakt 5.3 R2R and i want to add EWQLSO Platinum Pro XP in Kontakt. "The patch is encrypted... blah, blah..."

 

Hey nono01, didn't it come with a KG & installer because this library has to be register before it will work in kontakt

I need help,

So first i'm running on win 7 64, my Kontakt is 5.30 6464 R2R
I try to add "sonicouture broken wurli" library, but i ve the message "patch encrypted bla bla bla". After many try I finnaly read this forum and so i try to delete all the registred key, and other files. But the when i try to readd the library it's the same problem : i ve got the case "broken wurly" but it tolds me that "lbrary couldn't be found, click locate to set the control", so i click locate and browse to the folder where are my .nkx .nkc but nothing happen cause "the library path that is currently selected for Broken Wurly is incorrect".
I also try to add the library wit KLM v3.0 but i ve got the same issue "patch is encrypted bla bla".
I try many times and read the forum but i havent found any solution to my problem, i ve probably missed something.

Finnaly i found the solution, after reading again the forum ( many thanks to guru kontakt and every contributors...) in fact i delete the keys but when i try to readd the library, the key was already here (i don't know why ???), so if someone have the same problem you have two check if the keys are deleted a second time before to readd the library. I hope this will help .

I'm on Pc Win 7 64 bits...using Kontakt 5.3 by r2r

I downloaded the soniccouture BrokenWurli library and did all the trick by Kontact Guru...

Still get a error message that this patch needs to be registered to be loaded..

It appears in the Tabs but when I try to load a sounds this message appears


I wonder what's wrong

I've just been playing round with kontakt and have just experienced an error message when loading in instruments (Action Strings & Abbey Rd Drums)

Message from Kontakt 5 : "PANIC : Could not allocate enough memory. Application is likely to become unstable."

I never had many tracks going at the time (about 3 audio + 3 midi NI B4II & XLN Addictive drums & DFH Toontrack drums)

Everything was going great until i tried to load in Abbey Road drums, then my DAW (acid 7) crashed and kontakt said not enough memory

I'm On win 7, Quad AMD, 8 gb ram

Any ideas? Is it just a memory issue do you think, cos I imagine the Action strings & Abbey Rd drums are pretty power hungry

Did you try it in standalone and reproduce the same error?
Is your DAW 64bit???
Does your DAW support bridging?(to be-able to use all of your allocated memory)
The error seems like you used up all of the assign memory available in your DAW, normally 3GB to 4GB

I'm not sure about bridging, never heard of it til you mentioned it

I'll try a few experiments in standalone to see what it takes to crash it, then get back to you

Please Update your Daw or just change it lol

Bridging means:
Using inter-process communication mechanisms, it aims to make it possible to run 32bit plugins in 64bit hosts, 64bit plugins in 32bit hosts, or even bridging 32bit plugins to 32bit hosts, allowing to overcome the memory limitations of a single 32bit process, in this last case. Something like JBridge

Hi,

I'm having an issue where some kontakt libraries keep disappearing every time i open a new instance of kontakt.

I have noticed that it seems to happen to libraries that have the .nicnt files. I have also noticed that that these particular libraries do not create an XML file in C:program files/common files/native instruments/service centre which I gather is the problem.

I apologise if there is already a post which has the solution and or if I am posting in the wrong place.

I did try deleting the registration key mentioned in this post but am still having the issue of the libraries not staying in kontakt permanently.

I really do not know what to do and would appreciate some help on this.

No this is the perfect place for a Kontakt library question thanks to our gracious friend Kontakt Guru who has set up shop. If the last response was very recent give him a little time to respond, don't want to overwhelm the guy with questions. Otherwise he'll have my job every day.

There are two ways to fix this:
1. tell me the library names and i'll give you .nicnts that work
2. open the .nicnt with notepad++ and change the letter or numbers in the SNPID
For Example:
<SNPID>f16</SNPID>
Change to
<SNPID>d16</SNPID>
yep it's that easy, i can bet the letters and numbers are wrong in your .nicnts
Remember Please don't go over 99 for the numbers or over F for the letters:
A-F/0-99
