Updating to VST3 64bits and Backward compatibility with VST2 64bits

    Updating to VST3 64bits and Backward compatibility with VST2 64bits

    Please is there a workaround to get a backward compatibility between vst3 and vst2 to load up in old projects(For studio One)

    For example, kontakt 7(vst3 only) won’t open kontakt 6(vst2) used in old projects. Studio one writes “ missing plugin”

    Kontakt 7 has a different plugin ID so you need to keep it installed for old projects. Reaper can swap between VST2/VST3 versions of plugins depending on what's installed. Studio One might have someone similar, but most DAWs seem pretty terrible when it comes to plugin support/compatibility (lack of native 32-bit support or built-in bridging, dropping VST2 etc.)
