Looking to buy Arturia's Keylab 61 MKII but a bit worried it, for any reason, doesn't integrate with the (cracked) software.

Is it as simple as just setting the Keylab MKII as the MIDI controller in the Analog Lab 2 Settings?

I've got an Arturia SPARK LE that works great with the medicated software. I despise Arturia's activation process.
My NI hardware works with NI medicated software too.

    Thanks!

Haha, I was literally just looking at the Komplete Kontrol S49 and wondered if any of the NI software would show up.
Are there some libraries that don't show?

At the moment, I don't understand how the Komplete Kontrol software integration works and whatnot.
I mainly use Kontakt (portable version) and have a bunch of third-party libraries and libraries that I had to create on my own to avoid having to browse using Kontakt's file browsing method.

Can the Komplete Kontrol software kontrol Kontakt?

the s49 is great, but you need VST copies of every plugin so they can be found and loaded into the Komplete wrapper. I don't use Kontakt, but why would you want it loaded inside Komplete Kontrol? If you are one of those people who cannot use an s49 without pictures on screens you shouldn't get one. You will waste lots of time not using it to make music.

Maybe I'm not understanding it but I'm assuming you can control Kontakt the same way you'd control any other VST in there?

My main thing is trying to be one with the instrument and not having to cycle thru shit using my mouse, going back and forth, etc. which is a significant factor in what these keyboards were designed to do.

If the Kontakt integration isn't like what I imagine then this will definitely lure me away from even buying it.

Hint: I have an Arturia Keylab 61 first generation.
There is a piece of plastic that keeps the keys in place.
This piece had "dried" and is broken in several points. (The keyboard never left my studio, and I dont play as hard as a real pianist)
All the rest of the keyboard is working fine.
Arturia refuse to send that part to techs so they could replace it.

So, dont count on Arturia for support, nor sustainable / ecological policy.
