    I found this on wikipedia:
"Since the late 1960s, interest in Handel's music has grown."

    Radio?.... lol

Might as well be asking what shows will be most watched on Cable Television.

Millennials down to gen z could care less about terrestrial radio or the classic billboard charts per se.

Youtube, and streaming platforms are the radio and TV of now, and will continue to be for some time. VR, or some other immersive/interactive experience in film and music will most likely be next.

There will be new genres, but the "big one" will incorporate more visual work, and will be more theatrical than the standard audio we're used to.

This has been going on for at least 50 or 60 years. I am still betting on GILF tramp stamp martial shoegaze Liberian ska witch house to hit the big time. Produced by Coochie Bean Paste and the ghost of Martin Hannett. Those peeps get it.

Ai is revolutionizing everything at the moment. My guess is the next big thing will be a multi sensory realtime/interactive deepfake kinda deal. Not sure how this translates into what genre will succeed, but I'm quite certain there will be too many to even be bothered with categorizing them.

They tried with that AI rapper that was about to sign to Capitol a few months ago, until the whole thing backfired on the creators. Back to the drawing board.

I admit, Ai music won't be dominate in 2023. But you can't deny it's making leaps & bounds.

The technology is great and we already see and it hear it effects, but the purists and the gatekeepers are busy spreading fear, uncertainty, and doubt about it, which is a shame. AI is a tool, nothing more, nothing less. What matters is what you make of it. Or rather with it.

AI is the electric guitar of this generation, a thing that was "cheating" for purists and jazz players. But... Who is the Hendrix of the AI? We're yet to know...

Funny you should ask. As far as I'm concerned, in the psychill genre, Kaminanda has no equal. He puts WAAAAAAY too much influences in his music for mere psychill artists to follow.

Except when it's used for propaganda to further blur the line where white and black meet into a gunmetal grey and use that gun to further push even more agendas too. I've no problem with technology itself because it's neutral on it's own which has the potential to be veered into any moral direction.

However, humanity is veering it into a very dark path. Deepfakes will become indistinguishable from real footage soon and there won't be any more trial or error to be seen on screen in 2023, is my big prediction.

What sort of chaos that will bring is a whole other prediction and it doesn't take a genius to look to the past, be aware of the present and thus you could fairly easily predict this ship is sailing south in the future. Doesn't make me charge somebody 5 fitty to be somebody palm gps guide on a random Tuesday when TomTom already do dat doe.

Fuckin' Halle Berry turned into Halle Fuckin' Lujah for me with that statement. Clap, clap! Too bad for Air Bnb doe, surely they will see less orders on rentals for fake ass music videos like they own that house or that anybody actually cares if they do.

Life is anything but black and white. Life does not remain at a standstill, it evolves.
Again, it’s just a tool. If you are afraid to use it, that’s on you.
Change is inevitable. Embrace it or be left behind.
I’m old and I fucking hate nostalgia and all “the good ole days”. People, cultures, and tastes change. You either remain stuck in the past with the rest of the jolly people at the old folks home and fossil museum or move forward and keep your sense of wonder and discovery. This is vital for any kind of progress.

in the meantime, I’m gonna dig the sweet sounds of Paraguayan Neurofunk Neofolk Deconstructivist Cumbias.

In all honesty, I don't really listen to anything other than rock and metal. So the following will only be somewhat interesting to the heavy side of music.

I remember having a conversation with the singer in my band about 10 years ago (at the time I was in a thrash/nu-metal band) and he said that metalcore would never last.

But here we are, and although the genre has change somewhat over the last 10 years, it's still the style of metal that continues to thrive, even though it is vastly different to when it first hit the scene.

What bothers me the most is that a lot of these bands don't write their own songs. Crown the Empire is a classic example of that.

Being a muso myself...... it makes me far more interested in the person who wrote the song for the band, rather than the band who "performed and recorded" the song.

The basis of 'metal' is now far removed from when bands doing that genre were doing in the 80's, 90's and even 00's.

A song I heard recently that really sucked me in from the first listen is from the band 'Until I Wake'.

Firstly, whoever recorded and mixed that fucker is AMAZING!! Sounds so dope.

But I think it is quite clear that the band had a lot of 'help' arranging that song.

Again..... nothing wrong with that........ but when these guys performing it are barely 21 years old, you know they are the modern day Milli Vanilli.

So back to what I said before..... I'm more interested in the guys who are writing these songs for bands , rather than the 'bands' who perform them.

So therefore this also would have to be the same for hip-hop variants and sub-genres. There has to be a mastermind hip-hop guy that many of those groups go to to get their 'sound' and hits.
