Wanna try to use old vanguard 1 soundbanks in vanguard 2

I just picked up vanguard 2 today to relive some old garageband times when I used to use the first version. I understand it is backwards compatible with the original vanguard. I did this when I got nexus also and it worked fine.

My question is with fxp files. Does any of you kind people know of a way to add soundbanks to vanguard 2 - given that now refx presets are all installer based? I can most likely throw some single fxp's into the library folder like I did with nexus and that worked, but I just downloaded a vanguard 1 fxp pack off sister and am curious how I could use them with vanguard 2.
I am on mac if that matters or not.

I will try this tonight. I got carried away with playing around with old .aupresets I found on a couple old mac back ups then ended it making some of my own presets. Big fan of this one, I've always loved the fat knob since 09

 

I would like to try to convert my hundreds of old banks I have (Vanguard 1) but I don't think there is a Vanguard 2 for Mac around yet, am I wrong?

I saw the option on the 3 dot menu to import soundbanks or individual fxp's I just didnt want to do it last night cuz I was playing around making some patches
