Is there a good software to separate the parts of loops?

I am curious if there is a good plugin that you can load a loop sample, and separate the parts of it? For example, a drum loop sample, and separate the hats, snare, and kick. Or if you have a full music loop, separate the kick from it.

A perfect plugin would make the parts playable, but that may be asking too much. Any plugins that do that all well?

Regroover works pretty good for what I wanted. Thanks! It seems to lose a slight amount of the dynamics of each stem, but that can be fixed. Really appreciate it. Gonna give RipX a shot too.

Hello. I'm not so sure that there is something that could seperate a percussion loop like you asked. As in, seperating kick, hats, snare, etc. The software i am familiar with would just group those all under "drums." With vocals, piano/other (guitar), and bass being the other 3 catagories that it could seperate.

I had been using Steinberg SpectraLayers 8 for this and it did well. Accusonis Acoustica 7.2 and above can do a decent job and it can do it in real-time which is impressive. But i just discovered what i feel is the best one so far and that is RipX like the poster a couple posts up recommended. It does an excellent job creating stems from finished and mixed recordings.

There are a few others like Izotope RX. Native Instruments has one. Also, there are several online ones. But the best i've found so far is RipX. It's all pretty amazing technology really.

Nothing compares to this. The amount of control that you have over each separate instrument is incredible.

A couple people recommended Regroover from Accusonis, and it actually does a pretty solid job of separating hats, snare, claps, kicks, etc... into separate stems. It kind of surprised me. Im gonna try out RipX as well.
