Im trying to get the Noiseshaper from MOCHAs Shaperbox relesase to work but it seems to check ID or something and changes values in registry every time it loads up.
The .wav files from the Noise section seem to be encrypted or idk.
I tried downloading the demo to see what the Preset syncing does and what differs from the Unlocked version but every time the noise shaper stops working again when I install the MOCHA version.

Im not able to find anything about the release anywhere other that on Russian Sites.

I found another repacked release which seemed to exactly address this problem but it doesn’t work for me.

in the notes it states:

„Installer cured by TeamCubedooby

Special shout to MOCHA and that team's release.
This version is fixed so that the .wav library is not deleted or checked against the machine, and it just works.
Rock on and enjoy!“

Still exactly the same problem..
Did I miss some files when uninstalling maybe?

Is it possible to edit the requests and response the plug-in handles?
Or can I spoof it in some way or another?

Maybe someone can help with some insight or tips on how to get around this kind of stuff.

 

Are you trying to get the plugin to work or are you trying to export the noise files for other use?

I reviewed the Mocha vs TCD comments on various sites... I went with Mocha and enabled internet and allowed it to download the files. It works so far but I haven't tried it extensively

 

I wanna get the plug-in to work with the noiseshaper.
Right now it doesn’t play anything other than Whitenoise
My machine is basically air gapped as i don’t want to be online and connected to their server. wouldn’t the license be flagged and blacklisted?

Can you just contact their server with the Cracked version?

I thought I need to manipulate the network traffic or invent some crazy shit.
Im actually kinda sad if it is this easy haha.

Feels like I went down a massive rabbit hole with this one.

I recorded all the noises with Edison and did my own Patcher thing with envelope Controller but you can’t change the order of effects very easily and you need a second shaperbox all the time behind the Noise.

 

I was in the same boat as you, researching it and trying to figure out what to do. Felt very skeptical, but a key comment on audio news said to just let it connect (using Mocha's) and it'll work. I definitely did not and do not feel good about letting any plug connect to the internet, but decided fuck it and went with it. So far so good. Do it at your own risk I suppose lol

The TeamCubeDooby release noise shaper wouldn't work for me because it wouldn't connect to Cableguys server and download all the other noise files. I switched that out for Mocha release. That connects and downloads the necessary files and works just fine.

Which is pretty much exactly what typical-love said, right?

It's labelled as 3.3.0.0 in a lot of places, but I'm pretty sure it's actually 3.0.0

Tbh, it's pretty flimsy for that. But every once in awhile when there's not enough info for one I'll go there and there's juuuust enough comments for me to sus out what's going on. Good luck man, I toyed with it more last night and had a lot of fun

 

On a track that is of Russian origins I found the solution. You might want to have a look

 

Coincidentally, I was just looking in the same place and I see that the TeamCubeDooby release has been taken down and replaced by the later MOCHA release I reference above. Because the former didn't work and the latter does.

i had to reinstall everything and i had forgotten how to solve this isseo. i noticed the presets file is a simple database sheet, you can view it and modify it with any freeware that touches sql lite.
