    Random question out of curiousity really...

    Has anyone ever created an unofficial UAD Pre-Amp for the Apollos etc?

    I was randomly wondering if that could be jacked to make something really unique. Software generally needs the dongle but I think that part is probably a bit different because of how it acts like a real Pre

    Why not use any other external clean preamp, and after recording, coloring sound with tons of existing emulations?

    Yeah totally. Options are endless nowaways... It was just curiousity if the Pre-Amp can be hacked because of how it acts like real hardware... I wondered if anyone ever thought about it and jacked it already
