my question is will downloading the free UVI workstation conflict with a cracked version of Falcon?

or can you use legit UVI libraries in a cracked Falcon? I'm doubting it and hesitant to try anything because I am so heavily dependant on the incredible sounding falcon synths.

Not free. It seems you must purchase something else so you have to spend money.

I just added prime to the cart and checked out with the code. It was successful and gave me the link to register it to ilok and download uvi workstation as well as prime 8. I'm just hesitant to go beyond that step. Definitely worked though for me about 2 minutes before making this post. Incidentally prior to this I didn't have a UVI account and have never purchased anything from them.

 

Works great in legit Falcon. It is part of Vintage Vault, if you already have that. Thanks @Golde! Appreciate the tip

falcon itself sounds good, but it is also nuts and includes the ability to extend it using the lua scripting language

Worked for me too, just now. Prime 8 in my cart alone, redeemed FREEP8 and all good. I'm a longtime customer with multiple legit licenses, including Falcon. Idk if that makes a difference or not (I wouldn't normally think so).

 

I have Vintage Vault so I already own it, but checked to see if the voucher would work and it did. Thanks!

 

With R2R Falcon comes a UVIEmu. U can create your own R2Rlicense for every legit library!

if you go to the Prime 8+ post on the sister site one of the last comments is a link to this very thing. I tried it and it works great, no need to mess around with the UVI workstation download or worry about conflicts.

 

you weren't asking me but as a big Falcon and vintage analog synth guy I can say the Falcon Synths give me the closest experience to the hardware in terms of sound. Especially after turning off the built in fx, they just sound way better to me than any other synth vsti I have tried. It's also very straightforward to use and install new libraries in.
