    Holy mother of God. I own a Strymon Blue Sky and it's a fantastic reverb, I never really thought I'd see anything like it in plugin form.

    Literally havent had a single issue with ilok since 2011.... and I still have the same dongle from then. Plus, switching computers is simple.... instead of going to each manufacturers website or dig thru emails to find stupid serial numbers

    I also have a Blue Sky pedal, I could have stretched for the new more expensive one at the time but I heard a quality of tone in the Blue Sky pedal that sounded like what I was looking for. It didn't disappoint. I am wondering if this quality of tone is in the VST version or if it's just another fancy reverb plugin.

    Serial numbers can be saved to disk in a simple txt file, that how i do it for over a decade now. Self contained serial routine is the ultimate protection. You can be there somewhere without internet and just install and use the plugin with your serial number.
    But nah we are moving to internet shit logins and ilok.

    Let me write down a few points, why i specific hate ilok (ignore if you know them already)

    1. The way how the "uniloked" plugin works in terms of resources and memory usage, we have seen it already so many times as R2R has freed plugins on windows. (Its insane what ilok does to the binary(the plugin) to protect it on the price of resources and we need all the CPU power we can get.)
    2. I simply dont want to buy a freakin pendrive to use ilok, also simply use 1 USB slot on a notebook, where there are only 3. Connect one hardware synth, audio interface and midi controller, ohh look none left for ilok dongle.
    3. I hate simply auth plugins via the internet - its a mess on offline devices, you have to plan it.
    4. What if ilok servers are down? No plugin auth or rechecking of the serials, see pendrive solution 3.
    But this was discussed already so many times. I simply dont understand why developers always choose ilok? When there are better alternatives, which make the life easier.

    Nevertheless the plugin sounds good, is it worth ilok, for me not.
    And whats with the 7 days Trials?

    Tried the Demo, and it really sounds beautiful, it would be a very nice contrast to my usually used seventh heaven. Sad, that the price is so high and that they are not allowing machine activation...

    It does sound amazing, but I would have to say for the price I’ll take Valhalla supermassive. Also a hidden gem is the Valhalla ubermod reverb large hall or any of the large Ambient Reverb’s are insanely good.
