how can u somewhat do the palm mute effect like on a guitar?

i.e dead notes i guess

If you use a sawtooth wave form,
lower the filter, and use bit of envelope on it so it opens a little for a short time, before going to it's sustain level.

For the amp envelope, slow the attack time a little (you're not looking for a click), use a relatively fast decay with sustain at zero if you are looking for the typical short palm mute, like for funk. If you want some sustain, push it up a bit but not too much to keep a big difference between attack and sustain as this is what happen with guitars palm muted.
