I am planning to move everything to new computer soon.

If I want to backup soundsource rating (not patch rating) from omnisphere,
do I have to backup whole core library from

C:\SPECTRASONICS\STEAM\Omnisphere\Soundsources\Factory\Core Library

and patch ratings are saved in .omn file, right?

 

How To Copy Your Tags / Ratings / Projects
If you have tagged patches and/or soundsources and would like to copy those tags (including ratings and projects)
to make a backup or to transfer them to another computer, locate this folder:

• Omnisphere: STEAM/Omnisphere/Settings Library/User Tags/

To transfer those tags to another computer, copy the files you find there to the same folder on the new computer.
Your tags will appear when you launch the plugin.

NOTE: This will replace all user tags on the new computer with the ones from the old computer. It will not merge them.

To copy the exact same state from one to another computer you need to copy the 'STEAM' directory and the C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\ directories. You'll only have to install the Omnisphere version you used last and probably will have to activate again.

It's ok if you backup the steam folder on an external HDD. On your new computer you have only to install omnishere.
