Hello,
Please can you help me about MIDI settings in this program Tera v.3.5.1.
I didn't succeed to find option for this, and because of that I can't set my midi interface and keyboard controller.
Only which I can do is to play on virtual keyboard.
Where are options for MIDI interface and controller?
Please, explain me, if you can

Usually the operating system of your computer handles I/O of external MIDI. If your OS doesn't see your interface, none of your software will. These days at least many MIDI interfaces are USB class-compliant so drivers are often not needed.

What is your interface? Can anything else on your system see it?

 

The MIDI Learn function lets you assign a MIDI controller to any sound parameter.
Then you can control sound parameters by turning the knobs of your external keyboard or MIDI controller box.

1) Click on the button/controller with the right mouse button.
2) A small menu for MIDI learn / MIDI forget opens. (see attached picture)

- Receive MIDI input from multiple devices simultaneously.

2.4 MIDI Mapping
You can connect a distinct MIDI channel to each and every part in the part mixer. The default setting in the part mixer associates part 1 to MIDI channel 1, part 2 to MIDI channel 2 and so on. The MIDI events coming from any MIDI input channel are redirected to the associated parts. With the key split function of the part mixer you can restrict the redirection of MIDI note events to a user definable keyboard zone.

This function enables you to assign different parts (with different sound programs ) to separate key zones of the keyboard. Having a look at the block diagram, you will see that every part has its own step sequencer. If the step sequencer is stopped or not activated for a particular part, these note events are redirected directly to the modular synthesizer.

While the sequencer is running and activated for this part, the incoming note events are manipulated by the step sequencer. This enables you to transpose sequences, select sequencer patterns or to arpeggiate chords controlled by the notes you play on the keyboard. Thanks to the real-time functions of the sequencer, TERA is perfectly suited for complex live sessions !

3.1 Overview
The user interface of VirSyn TERA is designed to give you an optimal operating environment with mouse and keyboard. For this reason we avoided imitating traditional hardware synthesizers. Big knobs and graphical editors enable you to modify sound parameters precisely and easily by using the mouse, keyboard or an external MIDI controller. All parameters are divided into four property sheets.

I use many music software and in all of them I have to configure MIDI (exp. ASIO, Fast Track Pro (audio interface), 48000 Hz (quality), and buffer 256), and have to set that I use external MIDI controller. I use Arturia Synth Collection 9, Keyscape 1.3.3d, Korg Wave State, Pigments, Studio One 5.5.2, NI Kontakt. In all of this software MIDI configure exist with similar settings. I never use automatic OS automatic recognition. My OS is Win10 x64, and I don't have a problem with any program which use MIDI standard. Problem is in Tera 3.5.1 because I couldn't find menu item for MIDI configuration.

If I understand correctly, the MIDI learn function can be used, which assigns a certain button on the controller a certain function in the program. However, I won't do that since I don't use a classic controller, I use Hydrasynth for that purpose. I am interested in how I can choose the ASIO driver, Fast Track Pro, quality and buffer, and external keyboard. All music programs and software synths have this.
Does this Tera have this option, and how can I get a sound from my external keyboard (with virtual keyboard and mouse I get it)?
