Depends on the selected preset. Play a chord so 3 keys at the same time.
I have now tested all Cherry Audio plugins and for me this is poorly made software.

 

On my i7 (this one) with 6 voices in Sine played on Mulab 9, with a patch using the four oscillators in FM and two LFOs and the delay and the reverb and playing evolving pads with long releases, I reach only 3% CPU when I change the chord. With 8 voices I reach only 4%. On Cakewalk with the 8 voices I reach even less: only 3%.

And I repeat again: no, there is no need to let the computer online to use the Cherry Audio synths. The internet connection is required only once: when you activate the synth the first time you use it, that's all. After that, you can go in the desert if you want to play it in a desert far away from any internet connection.

I'm running it on an i5. My OS was installed in June 2017, so it's what, five and a half years old? (Oh, it's probably older than that now that I think about it. I got Ransomwared at some point and had to do a reinstall. Perhaps it's more like seven years old?)

Six notes looping in Poly Brass kicks my CPU up to about 30% in Ableton. So kind of heavy, but far from unusable.

 

Yes! Words that carry some weight. I bought into the Arturia marketing myself only to be disapointed because I listened to a popular music youtube influencer and was pretty pissed I was out all that money for the bundle years ago.

Since I had no other choice I did end up finding some uses for their plugins. Like Pigments, for example is pretty awesome after I got to know it for a few months. I do fear that Cherry Audio might be going down the same route.

 

I tried but couldn't replicate the sound of patches from Sines.
