Hi Guys, I just discovered this forum while learning to make music. Seems it's a fantastic place to get some comments. I have learned to make music like 1 or 2 months so I'm not quite sure what kinda music i'm making, I mean the genre. I make my music based on house root, like the bpm and so on but I don't know if there is any restriction of the elements I should use. I listen to many types of music so my music may become a mixture of them. Thanks for listening and advices! I'm truly appreciated.

Daw and equipment used: Ableton Live and Push

welcome, make what you want to make, don't worry about any genre or rules and check out the education section in the MISC section and also mixing/mastering/sounds in the WORKSHOP section, and don't be afraid to ask questions if you can not find what you are looking for. :mates:

Not bad, for 1-2 months it's pretty good.

Only real things I'd have to say is in places with less going on the bass drum stands out a little much but it could just be a mastering issue. Other than that it just needs a melody in it somewhere. Not specifically an instrument maybe it needs some female vocals or something but certain point I think a melody would in the more repetitive parts would work really well, especially if the background arp could be used as a counter to it.

But overall for your time in on it, it sounds great.

Keep it up dude, sounds good for your first effort, welcome to the forum

Practice makes perfect as they say, the more you put into it the more you'll get out of it, that's my two cents
