Se for perguntar muito, de onde você baixou a primeira versão em que aconteceu esse erro? R2R nunca instalou uma pasta assim no meu computador, eu utilizei a v10 e agora a v14 sempre baixado do torrent russo ou do site amigo. Não me parece algo relacionado a instalação da versão VR, provavelmente vc baixou de alguém malicioso antes da V14 e agora isso afeta o funcionamento de um patch totalmente funcional (e muito mais eficiente na CPU). Espero que consiga resolver, tenha paciência, abraço!!

No malware found.
This makes me think: Why just the Waves package? If I had a malware many others apps should be reporting errors...malwares are for the entire system...
When I install the last Waves release over all works for a few days and then the error shows up again. This is related to the sample based instruments since all the others plugins work even when I got this error appearing. The virtual instruments has the same error in stand alone mode.

Como disse no primeiro topico, a outra versao R2R tambem apresentou esse erro.
Baixo sempre do tracker russo e do site da irma...uso pacotes da R2R pra gravaçao e mix ha mais de 10 anos. Somente esses dois estao apresentando esse erro. Prefiro sempre esperar os pacotes lançados por eles do que de outro times, pra nao misturar...nao uso Waves V.R, com necessidade de instalar Waves Central.
E algo relacionado ao caminho da biblioteca de instrumentos virtuais apenas pois os plugins todos funcionam, mas fica toda vez apresentando esse erro quando tento usar um instrumento virtual ou durante o scanning no Pro Tools.

I also have Waves but not such error. Many users use the R2R versions but do not have such error.
So it should be on your PC.You can't find this error on the internet either.
Maybe a file is corrupted or maybe a file folder has special characters, check the folder names.

Uninstall unused individual plugins manually:
1. Quit all audio apps.
2. Navigate to the relevant plugin version folder:
Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Plug-Ins V14 (or whichever version is installed on your device).

1. The plugin file you wish to remove will be named after the plugin, in this format: [PluginName].bundle. For example, the plugin file for Reel ADT will be named Reel ADT.bundle.
2. Delete the plugin file/s you wish to remove (or move to a backup folder).
3. Clear Waves preferences:

Please note: Manually removing a plugin will not be reflected in Waves Central’s ‘Install Status’ for that plugin. For correct reflection of the installed plugins in Waves Central, uninstall the entire version and re-install just the plugins that you need.

Yeah, I think so. I never had such error myself. What's is weird for me is that error just showed after a long time after the package have been installed. I only use R2R waves version. I wait for their release. You now they don't update waves all the time. So you can image how long the package was here in good working condition. Now even after a complete reformatting the error is alive.
Yesterday I removed the waves package I had and did a clean install. I took the same waves version from another source. I always remove things by using Revo. So all the registry keys and remain files are removed too. Then I still do a manual search for waveshell, foders and so. This always was my routine to remove audio apps.
I also removed the Microsoft account I had. Now I got only the Admin account running.
What I can recall was after all that the apps in stand alone mode were working. I was able to set the path for the libraries and closed all them. Then I openned them again so the path was still there and no boring window asking me to set it again.
Then I openned a session in PT and start each virtual instrument.The path was correct too. They worked.

Let's see now if everything is ok on the days ahead.
I used to run check disk and defrag on my HDDs and SSDs quite often...I don't think this is the matter but I appreciate, as always.
I will do it one more time.
The path on my drive is:
C:\Users\Administrador\AppData\Local\Temp

Files from the TEMP folder usually are needed when the program is working. When the files are finished processing by FlexiCapture, the system removes them automatically from the TEMP folder. Nevertheless, the responsibility of the customer is to clean up the DataBase and old projects, etc. When the program session is closed all temp files can be deleted without harm to the program. The ..\AppData\Local\Temp folder is used by other applications as well, not only by FlexiCapture.

There are several approaches to clean up the Temp folder:

• If temp files are in use, then Windows will not allow to remove them. In this case, the folder can be cleaned up manually. Only the files that are not in use will be removed, it will not influence system operation.
• Windows never automatically clean the %TEMP% directory by default. In Windows 10 you have to enable this feature in Settings, and with earlier versions, you must delete the files yourself or use programs like Disk Cleanup.
• If some files can't be deleted due to permanent work of FlexiCapture, to decrease the size of the Temp folder, it is necessary to stop the processing in the FlexiCapture complex (Processing Server and all Stations) and stop the related FlexiCapture Services (Processing Server and Stations Services) and delete the temporary files manually.

Note: check user permission for this folder (it should be set to Full Control for both User and Network Service).

As a workaround, it is possible to create a .bat file for the Temp folder clean-up and in the next step set the corresponding task in the Task Scheduler with the use of the .bat file for the recurring clean-up.

I have cleaned the temp folder manually. I use to that sometimes and also by using Ccleaner.
For now the check disk is still ruuning my Hdd where the waves samples are located. It is taking a while...so that drive is offline at the moment.
This is driving me crazy but, again, just happening with waves...If I am able to run my old and new sessions, loading the plugs even with this error, I will give in on searching the cure...

 

It may be that your sample libraries folder is corrupted. I would just reinstall the sample libraries over it again.

What about the hard disk?
For the hard drive CrystalDiscInfo is a very good free tool, it shows you errors and the state of the drive.

Waves samples are still working since the last install...let's see. Takes a while to make sure. Last time they worked for about 4/5 days before that windows shows up.
Got CrystalDiskInfo, Victoria and HD Sentinel. No issues. Check Disk also said it is ok.
I don't have lots of libraries, you know...the Grand Rhapsody, Clavinet, Eletric 200-88 and Bass Fingers. I can download them if this is necessary. But the problem seems to be related to the library patch not the library itself, I mean, the samples. They were asking for the path all the time even in stand alone mode. I ran PT today with no issues yet.
What is boring is just that window poping up all the time. I can survive without the libraries since I don't have that annoying window on my face. I really hate those softwares errors...

Let's see if if the issue has been fixed. I have tried so many things that now I don't now which one was the trick if it works from now. So I will stay with the last package I downloaded plus the removal of the Microsoft account leaving only the Admin one. Fingers crossed.

Remember other users of Waves R2R, have never had a problem with Waves. So no trick is needed to install and use Waves.

Only works for about one week after a new install then the error comes back. I am still able to load all waves plugins but with that 380 library window error pissing me off.
