I found a website in my country that says 305mkii will be available soon, I don't know if their pricing will be fair or not

They're available on Thomann for $179 (B-Stock). Thats (as pair) just $60 more than your budget
and Thomann ships worldwide btw. The T5V are at $157 in B-Stock - thats just $14 above $300.

I suggest to save that tiny extra ammount of money and get the Adam's. You won't regret it.
My A7X are in use since 6 years and they just sound so much better than any speakers I had before.

If you have access to this site, you also can access Thomann... or are you from Russia and they blocked access to european sites because of the ukraine war? In that case you still could use a VPN.

Hello @BMBronson, here are the current prices, I wish you good luck, these are really good monitoring monitors:

The JBL 305P MKII currently costs between €139 to €149 each. 2 pieces therefore cost 268 € to 298 €. Plus postage.

    Depending on the euro ( € ) - dollar exchange rate ($) there may be small fluctuations. 1 € = 0,9954 $

If you consider Eris, I would recomnd to try Edifier MR4. They're new to this monitoring business, thus really cheap(it's something around 150$ for a pair!). I tested them against JBL and Eris from your survey and like them more, much more. But you should check it yourself.

And they're 4". Exactly what you need for a room under 15m2.
Also, don't forget that if you don't have space to place stands for monitors, it can be a problem with anything larger than 4"-4.5". You'll need a really deep table to place them on it(much more than usual 60cm). Finally, remember that you'll have place them at the same level with your head.

JBL 305P MkII 5-inch Powered Studio Monitor
    I second the JBL's
Great response for a 5inch monitor

    Frequency Response:49Hz-20kHz (±3dB), 43Hz-24kHz (-10dB)

I just checked out much shipping is from where I live in Europe to a random spot in The Middle East which is just a guess of where you might live, with UPS as the courier to Cairo, Egypt. It was over 300 bucks. I've helped out other forum members doing this but the price is perverse and as much or more than the monitors themselves. That's fucked up.

I heard the Mackie, the jbls in person and have the eris in my bedroom. They are all comparable/interchangable in that price range. I kept the eris because of the small footprint and the front port. The Mackie's are great if you mix quiet. They don't change the sound as much as the other 2 if you change the volume. They sound basically the same no matter If they are cranked or barely hearble. If size, listening volume
and porting doesn't matter, the Jbls are best bang for the buck on the market in my opinion.

With that prices in your country I'd say go with most reasonable priced you can get. All Brands I mentioned are basically the same quality. And you can work with all of them.
