Ah ok I must’ve been mistaken. That’s awesome. Does that mean I can control mac instruments on my PC and vice versa?

 

Yes. You can control Mac plugins on your PC, Windows plugins on your Mac, Mac plugins on another Mac and Windows plugins on another Windows PC.

So my server doesn’t show any plugins in its list. At first I thought maybe it was because it only works with VST2 and VST3 plugins (does it work with plain VST?) but then I realized I have VST3 that should’ve been picked up. Anything obvious I’m missing?

 

Have you scanned the plugins before? Are they in the correct folder?
Please have a look at the tutorial or the manual.

 

I can see the plugin names popping up as they’re being scanned so I think the directory path is correct. I’ve followed the tutorial on the site, is there another?

 

Phew, it's a bit complicated to help you without seeing what you see. So I can only make blind guesses.
Have you connected your AG plugin instance with the server instance?

That even the server does not show any plugins is really odd. I think in this case you should really write to the support rather than asking here, because that should really not be the case. I guess the support will first recommend you to wipe AG completely from the drive including all configuration folders and make a clean install. But let's see, maybe they have a better solution...

Okay, I am not familiar with Reaper. It seems I can’t help you further with this. Please contact the AudioGridder support.

 

The last few beta updates, I've lost some functions. I can no longer scroll the plugin list, and the server doesn't list the plugins as it loads anymore. Frustrating, but it doesn't stop from using it.The change happened with maybe beta 11?
Is there a way to purge the blacklist and rescan? I can't find the blacklist file.

 

I tried AG with FL Studio 20.8.3.....
Had to enable the "Use fixed buffer size" to get sound without stutter.
All things well after that.... Can use a huge amount of synths without any problems...

But here comes my problem: Exporting to wav/mp3 is not working!!! Sounds are completly missing!!!

Anyone has same issues with export? Am I doing something wrong?

 

Hey guys, after trying hard, i can finally connect to an audio gridder server, my only issue now : can't see any plugin gui... i don't know why

I am using a macbook pro m1 on mac os Monterey and windows 11 in parallels ( virtual machine)

EDIT : Find a solution, i had "Generic editor" enabled haha

can some please tell me how I can get the presets for plugin alliance plugs to work in audiogridder?
vst2 presets show up but do not change any settings and vst3 show nothing in presets

edit managed to get vst2 presets working by going back to 1.20.beta 9 any higher and they stopped working but still no vst3

The same boat here ,Recalling default Presets is AG never really works for me ,saving and recalling no issue, some plugins show presets in vst2 not vst3 PA one of them if you press right click on the plugin above the automation,

Amazing piece of software, use it both for native Mac, for DSP-heavy plugs, and also windows.

I'm having trouble getting the two servers to work simultaneously. Have assigned different numbers, made different names, but can only get the original server to connect. Either will work, but only one at a time. If I open a different instance, say AU for the Mac Server and VST for the Win one, they seem to sync on the same server.

Also, for the last few betas, there is reduced functionality on the Windows server (using WIneskin). Plugin scan no longer shows the reading, although errors do pop up. The plugin list cannot scroll anymore, and the settings page does not show changes until save and open. It works, though, loading plugs, so it would be great to use both servers simultaneously.

I use it the same way but have not had this issue in Logic.
Logic / Local Server on Mac / Plug in on Mac / Server on Wondows
Set both servers to different ID's and they work.
