    Hey, guys!
I just found a new synth plugin called "Sistema" (don't even know how to pronounce that).
So developers said on their website that this is an AI trained to generate new sounds and it's really sounds great!
A lot of interesting textures & fast workflow!

    I think it's worth a try!

    What do you think?

I also test it for a few days already!
Love it, however I think they would optimize GUI for hi-res retina displays!

Hm. The same stuff as Arcade by Output IMO.
Also they sent me a message before 1 or 2 that you can cancel your sub by clicking here or smthng like that.
    Don't remember exactly tbh.

I like the way you get the sounds & fast tuning.
Personally I tired up making the same things in Serum, so Sistema did it in 10 seconds and the sounds from it sounds great.

    Just think about this
    for €0 you'll get https://surge-synthesizer.github.io/

    a really powerfully synth

and with guk.ai you have a company without an Imprint
The Last thing I bought without a proper imprint, I still wait for their support on a Licensing.

For me, this looks a bit fraudulent

This one is about getting sounds & inspiration in fast way, not to spent time with a tons of knobs.
I own Serum & Omni, where I can spend a lot of time to polish the sound.
However Sistema is much more about fast & commercial ready result.

"For me, this looks a bit fraudulent"

That's so true :) I was a bit nervous to drop my CC to the guys from the FB ADs. haha...

Thats what i actual like about synths, you make stuff different on your own and you have a total different sound. Ofc if you want generic sounds, this could help speedup.

Yeap, ask for a CC first. I'm not used to buying plugins that way :)

A lot of results are really great. I think 8/10 is usable as it is.
However that would be much better to split the generations into the music type genres.
    "House - Bass, Hip-Hop - 808" IMHO

Bravo - thanks for the AI news. Finally, the AI is here...!
Now the competition will sit down and make AI too. That's where the money of the future is.
I have so many plug-ins that my lifetime is not enough to play them all sufficiently.
    That's why I won't buy it - I have enough of everything.

    Not entirely serious:
Native Instruments will probably do the same in about 15 years. It will take them until they have analysed
the market with the chances of profit. If someone cracks this, I'll make myself available as a tester for free.

A.I. - in the year 2022 means nothing more than the supposed online processing of specific algorithms which requires monthly subscriptions to utilize.

    No thanks to:

    midjourney
    Samplab
    Sistema
... and the list will grow, unfortunately.

Hmmm... doesn't really look like AI to me. It would be cool if the synth could analyze the input signal and you could also enter a text prompt, like with stable diffusion. For example:
The result would be a completely new and totally interesting sound that can be perfectly embedded into the input signal.

The concept of developing the sounds through quasi-evolutionary decisions is promising (although not really AI). But I find the results disappointing because the synth itself has no appealing tone. The examples all sound cold, impersonal and unfortunately also quite boring. Perhaps it will be possible for someone to combine this method with a really well-sounding instrument, then it will start to be interesting. Btw 500,- for the license are a joke and the business model is quite obscure.

You were nervous to do it , but did it anyway, and now wish to have many others do the same.
    Hmmm

AI basically solves a categorization problem: based on a large dataset it can make a guess to what category a set of inputs belong. For example: small animal + wings + hard carapace + no bones -> AI processes -> flying insect.

So, applied to synthesis it could go like this: saw + unison + detune + wide stereo -> AI processes -> big pad sound. The AI could then apply a cathedral reverb and a long amp release time to help you reach that sound.

Personally I don't see the added value. Others might. To each his own. Either way, it's safe to assume that companies add "AI" to their products because it's a buzz word that might help them sell more.

Won't be long before we have AI bots shilling forums with a new product and arguing with people when they diss it. Or AI dissing bots too... AI bots arguing with other AI bots. My head hurts.

For now I'll use my human shill radar, which twitches whenever I see lots of ! characters.
