It is normal that Windows reboots by itself. Just unplug the HDD so that you only have the SSD connected!
12-minute guide; Windows 10 fresh install from USB download to new SSD/PC.

Situation A: If you only have a new drive connected, you will see a Drive 0 Unallocated Space listed there.
To install Windows 10 on a new hard drive, just select it and click Next to install Windows 10 on new hard drive.

    i have the hdds disconncted,
what im wondering is this normal
now my options are drive 0 partition1 system reserved total size 50mb free space 19.0mb type system
or drive 0 partition2 total size 931.5gb free space 922.1gb primary
i hadnt those 2 options on the install 5 mins ago.
should i have went into bios and chosen the ssd as 1st in boot order

"5mins ago" make that 30 mins ago now

The boot order only controls from where Windows starts first.
So you want to install Windows from the USB stick then from the USB stick.
You do not need to go into the BIOS.

Just choose. "0 Partition2 Total size 931.5gb Free space 922.1gb Primary".
Windows 10 is about 20 GB in size.

ok i have deleted those 2 options that were availabale and just 1 with allocated space is there,i have chosen it.
so its going to install again, and restart
WILL I GO INTO BIOS AND CHANGE BOOT ORDER TO SSD WHEN IT RESTARTS?
TO avoid the hassle that has just occured

Windows restarts several times, in the installation please do nothing and let windows restart several times.
This is normal please sit back and have a tea.
At the end of the installation Windows starts automatically.
Then you will see your familiar desktop again.
Then you can exit Windows and then go to the BIOS and then change the boot order to "Start with Windows".

why is it asking the same things then, language, which version of windows 10? etc, that seems like its on the 1st phase of installing, not the phase it should be on after restarting
