I have a bassline here from another track, I would like to use the same rhythm in my track but with different notes.
do you think the whole thing is an 808 or another bass sound ?
To me it sounds like a 4 to the floor kick with a sidechain on the bass, but I can't hear how the pattern was programmed, but I love the groove and the bounce of it all.

Sounds like an Techno Kick with layered Sub Bass to me.

Maybe Samplab is the Way to Go to get the sound to midi and change it how you want.

it's filtered. it could be an 808 I guess, but it could be any other number of machines.

But the bounce you are talking about on bass notes, I use the Note Repeater midi FX plugin in Logic and you can easily make this kind of bouncy bass effect with only 2-3 repeats or so. A good % of the time, I will put the Logic SubBass plugin on the same channel. Otherwise you could do it with most fx with MSEG options.

    old school Logic Note Repeater.:
