Im currently looking for different Midi Drum pattern packages just to get some inspiration.
I mainly write Metal music but I would also love some DnB / Trap and other drum midi's just for fun.
Do you guys have any recommendations?

 

a lot of them will be for corresponding recycled breaks. so they are basically useless for your request.

depending on your track bpm, a good source for midis are styles that are roughly half the bpm you are working at. So things like Soul, Funk, Rare Groove, HipHop/trap. Also, almost all "dubstep" midis will also work. Midi Timestretch them and then chop them up like audio.

To be honest most of the time I change like 30-60% of a midi drum beat to make it fit at all, it's just for that "starting inspiration" .
As a metal guy im kind of used to that most drum midi's are at almost half the BPM when they are from another genre.

 

Install all the expansions and MIDI packs for EZDrummer and edit to taste. The MIDI files work without the plugin.

There's literally a million patterns there, where are you expanding to?

 

Im looking for mainly more DnB stuff which has a lot of Jungle beats that I want to incorporate into my music.
I don't have all expansions but so far I haven't found much of these Midi's.

 

Thanks checked them out has some good one's probably a good expansion to the EZX stuff.
Some stuff seems similiar though I guess that's due to the fact that it's the same company as EZdrums
