Not working here as well. I want to find some FLAC there today and still can't.

 

why not Wav? why FLAC......FLac format new to me, i don't think i used it before

The .flac file is a lossless compressed format. It can weigh up to 3 times less than a Wav.

It's for my music player to listen at my HiFi stereo system, the 96kHz lossless files are mostly "ripped" from the Tidal Master (I believe) which is untouched original master fresh from the mastering engineer or record label. Maybe the difference is a little to not audible compared to 320kbps mp3 when played on my audio system, it is just when I first listen to my favourite band new album, I'd like it to be that way. It's kind of a ritual, been doing that for some time now, it sounds better that way, plus other stuff, but don't want to bore you with all those goat blood drinking, virgin girl sacrificing and others, keeping it purely technical. It's easier to manage FLAC than waves with the auto-tagging etc.

I can get to the site but can't access anything. It will "search" but beyond that nothing works for me either. Need to wait it out I guess.

also Strezov Sampling Diamond Jazz Orchestra is sadly not as good as id hoped. its like a more expensive and larger file size chris hein horns.
honestly ru has helped massively in my kontakt purchases and is a great compliment to the sister site for people who cant go the debrid route

I had tried their free version from " Strezov Sampling Diamond Jazz Orchestra ", and I found it really bad. I don't know what the full version will be like, but, if the small one didn't sound good...
I love Chris Hein's stuff, especially the wind instruments, I think they are much better. Maybe the sound is a bit "old". I mean, the new libraries have more "presence" "brightness" "clarity". But for my taste, Chris Hein sounds very good.
Have you tried Session Horns Pro? I think it's the most realistic I've heard.

I agree with you, the RU site helps us a lot, even when some things are deleted from the sister site.

And by the way here in Argentina the connection is already stable.

It would seem Strezov's libs when it comes to choirs are amazing but the others are somewhat lacking.
IMHO this also happens to Sonuscore. Amazing orchestral libs but the others not so good.

 

ended up swapping to mojo horns.
i have a yamaha wx11 with a bt7 power pack , and the wx11 just doesn't play nice with sessions at all, but i did really like the saxes
embertone ,swam ,mojo , swing! work well but its an old wind controller from 1989 so i cant expect perfect pc breath expression .

oddly enough ru has a ton of dxi and early vst that are still hard to find
