    I wonder how many of us have jumped onto the mobile music train and use their mobile device for more than just a "toy".
    It's still a little surprising how much you can already do on a tablet computer (or smartphone) today.
    If enough residents a interested, why not create a mobile music related forum project as a platform for exchange of ideas, experiences, how-tos etc.

    The poll results will help us organize the project structure.

    Feel free to add comments if you miss anything!

    This Xmas I bought an iPad air, with the new A7 processor. GarageBand, Apple's flagship music production app came free, but that same afternoon I bought the add-on "smart" instruments. They are a must. If you haven't shelled out those 5 bucks, please don't hesitate. Most mobile musicians I knowin person , and maybe here too, are keyboard players. However, I am a bass player, and sequencing with a keyboard kind of breaks my inspiration flow. Now I can "play" onscreen and really feel the music more. Paired with Logic Pro X, now I have seamless integration of the mobile world to my desktop production rig.

    This is no kids' game anymore. Mobile recording is serious stuff. Now I am working ideas on the commuter bus. Ain't that nice!
