if I would be M. Schlesinger (also named No Avenger), I would put Kontakt Libraries into a section called MMA (multiple mixed assets)

They come from WASAPI Driver record function in audacity and a nice AutoHotKey Script

 

Yeah. That would be simple and efficient. It was already suggested years ago...

 

Thats how a lot of other boards handle it.
Easy and convenient for everybody, while still keeping the same number of clickable links for the uploader.

The side effect would be that it would look like less content uploads on the site

We can’t get magesy have more uploads!!! Flood the sister!!!

 

My suggestion for the Sister Site would be that they put Sample Libraries below 100mb (not Presets packs) on the Right hand side, like the free stuff because nobody can see the R2R, V.R, Software, Kontakt Libraries, Preset Libraries and any Good Stuff amongst all the (lets say it how it is) Ru*bish.
A lot of the bigger sample libraries are quality and can be expensive, so a good asset to the site, but these tiny ones, they are offensive to the uploaders uploading quality stuff that can't be found.

Ok. But what about that new waves plugins? They are not hq at all. Where can we put them to?

 

I don't Unterstand the Problem i just use the menu and choose Kontakt. Same for Software. Then there is no flood of Sample Packs and only the relevant Stuff. Filter would be cool but i think it would be a lot of work.

If a plugin or sample pack was ever considered for the use in a trap production (or more worse case: was *used* in a trap production): leave it to magesy

all other stuff: one section

 

filtering can`t be that complicated. when you click on software or kontakt, thats a filter right there.

 

But should the filter filter out that stuff or filter in? Programming a filter can be complicated. Ask FAB

Almost all search engines in the whole world have things like "-filter" or "NOT filter" option.
It is a VERY basic feature.
