I tried the 1 month trial of the SSL bundle and it was super nice but I can't really afford it so I'm trying to go back, I've uninstalled the legit ones with revo and then reinstalled the r2r bundle, but on some plugins it still looks for iLok when it opens - am I doing something wrong?

Have you checked if there are some files and/or registry items connected to the legit SSL still left? Sometimes Revo doesn't find and remove everything, so it's always best to check manually if everything is gone.

Another thing (that I don't think should cause any problems): have you removed the SSL bundle trial license from the iLok license manager?

just remember sometimes when you do things like this in the wrong order there can be ways of making this a real pain to figure out. anti r2r files and things... if whatever you tried didn't work, I would do revo clean uninstall/reboot, install, remove anything or disable it in ilok and uninstall the ilok manager again. then try again. something like that.

Do you know where I can find those registry entries? I can't seem to remove the expired licenses in ilok, but only hide them

I'm guessing you've already uninstalled the R2R SSL bundle? If not, you need to do that first.

To search for keys related to SSL in the registry you should be able to just search for "Solid State Logic" (select "Computer", that's highest in the folder hierarchy, and then press F3). When/if the search finds a key related to Solid State Logic, delete that entry (or the whole folder if that whole folder is related to SSL).

However, before you start removing stuff in the registry you should probably make sure that there are no files at all that has to do with SSL/Solid State Logic on your C: drive.

Update: fuck ilok, can't figure it out. Uninstalled all SSL plugins with revo and then used everything search to delete leftover ssl files. Went into regedit, deleted everything related to SSL. Restarted, installed r2r ones. Doesn't work, buss comp and channel strip still look for ilok. I can't uninstall iLok because I own a bunch of legit stuff. wtf??
