You need to specify what kind of impulse responses you're looking for.

Speakers? Real places? Microphones? Reverbs? Sound design?

Samplicity Bricasti M7. It's free and quite good. Even pro-mixers like Alan Meyerson, Marc Daniel Nelson, and Mick Guzauski used them.

Other pack that I used a lot is the Acousticas 480 & 224. You can get this at the sister's site I think.

-> ReaVerb is an impulse loader and not limited to reverb, so @xorome's question is valid.

He's looking for IR's not IR loaders (OP is not that long, right?).

    Aha.

    And these are
    ?

Obviously he's looking for some specific impulses based on your experience, not for generic hints.

@petrrr, I've been there too, dl'ed a bunch of free IR packs and decided to skip it. I had zero patience and interest to go through dozens and hundreds of IRs for a snare, BD, tom, ...
I don't even try the IRs from hardware in reverbs like Altiverb.
So, very valid question in which I'm interested too, but I've no answer.

this also seems interesting but not sure if its allowed to be used in a song that will sell online

This library is completely FREE, to comply with the request from Bricasti that it is allowed to create impulse responses with the M7, as long as these IRs are not included in any commercial product.

Bricasti is a registered trademark of Bricasti Design Ltd., Medford MA, USA.

am i understanding this right? they can't be used if u include it in a song that you will sell online?

The Samplicity's IRs are okay, good sounding, usable and high-quality IMO. The thing about what made Bricasti M7 so famous apart from it was created by people that worked for Lexicon, is the modulation and how the reverb tails is generated/modulated which is up until now no one manage to replicate and really hard to capture and translate into a single IR file. The Liqudsonics come with their own tech "Fusion IR" which is their attempt to emulate that effects and so far the majority of the audio community agrees that the Seventh Heaven is the closest you can get to a real Bricasti M7. While taste is subjective, and if "better" is measure with how close they are to the real thing, you can get better result with the Seventh Heaven if the M7 sound is what you particularly going after. As for good reverb sound, I think Samplicity IRs are capable of that as well with the right tweaking.

no one will know if you don't tell them, you will 100% get away at a gunpoint by saying you used Valhalla Vintageverb.

I don't think there's any 'best' or 'must-have' IR packs. I've deleted 99.9% of IRs I've ever downloaded. At some point I had over 300 guitar cabinet IRs alone..

I linked the IRs I decided to keep, they're from 100% free sources.
Edit: Zippyshare mirror by Stevie Dude

    Just briefly:

    - 'Reverbs' - Captures from hardware reverb units and plates.
    - 'Room' - Rooms of various sizes, I sometimes use these when something sounds too unnatural or 'flat' otherwise.
    - 'Spaces' - Real world large open spaces, I use these all the time.
    - 'Springs' - Captures of spring reverbs, I use them fairly often.
    - 'Speakers' - Captures of various crappy devices like laptop and vintage telephone and radio speakers.
    - 'Guitar/Bass' - Various cabinets.

That's weird, link still working for me and a friend from another country. Maybe Stevie Dude's mirror (thanks!) works for you?
The IRs are from completely free sources, I'm not aware of any licensing restrictions (I usually read the license text if one is included).
