I'm fascinated with the sound of this release

    SonalSystem LLC Dream Pop

    https://soundcloud.com/search?q=SonalSystem LLC Dream Pop

it reminded me The Shadows (60s) and Chris Isaak - Wicked Game (late 80s)

And I'm curious what reverb and delay plugins could be used to get that sound?

    yes

also the roland dimension D chorus, done by Arturia, UAD and in Overloud modula which also has the SYMPHONIC preset from Yamaha rev7, iconic for 80s guitars

    also reverb Lexicon 480

Doesn't really matter. Chorus is chorus, usually.

On computers , for a chorus you can use on synths or guitar I like tal chorus, its a free plugin.

For a reverb , thats free. Tal Reverb 2 is a really good free plugin. There is an newer version I havent tried: TAl Reverb 4

I also really like Valhalla Vintage Verb as a plugin for reverb.

    If you play guitar:
For the classic eighties sound for guitar. The MiJ CE 2 is the most legendary chorus pedal. This has been remade as CE 2 Waza.

The CE 2w is 255 on Thommann so reasonably expensive and a lot more than free. CE 2 MIJ green label from the eighties is 205 on ebay at the moment. This is a 40 year old guitar pedal at this point.

A more modern guitar chorus pedal I think sounds really good for chilled out music is the Walrus Julia Chorus pedal.

Walrus chorus is 199 euro on Thommann so also expensive.

Walrus Audio pedals are a touch on the expensive side, but they're great quality. I haven't got the Julia, but I have got couple of others (Voyager and Slo), well worth the money.

Valhalla Supermassive is another one that's free for a huge reverb. This guy uses one for dream pop at 17:45.
