ive been having a bit of a problem with this thing but since its only when monitoring the playback in the desktops system sound i havnt stressed that much, but it would be nice to know though and be able to take advantage of the sound correction even for gear connected to my inteface

i have zero problems enjoying the profiles in PCs system sound (browsing, youtube, vlc winamp etc) using Sonarworks Systemwide. And no problems with the plugin inside my Daw, that works fine in every way.

But, input signals going into my interface (Babyface Pro) are not getting processed (or routed right) in the desktops SystemWide audio, any idea what it can be. is this a RME TotalMix issue you think? Or am i just missing some setting that needs to be adjusted. Cheers

that´s normal, as Systemwide is a playback thing, not for recording, (like in your daw with the SW-plug)

hi Lemmy, i think i get what are saying but again you mean there is no way to make the sound incoming from lets say a mpc connected to the inputs of a BabyFace pro to get at least "routed" somehow so that i can enjoy the room correction feature?

Yes the Audio never reaches your computer. It is mixed on the RME hardware itself. So to use this you will need some kind of hosting software, like your dawn or something else. And not use tmfx at all.

wow, i guess you guys saved me a lot of time, i was going to try to "fix" it and probably spend the whole day trying to figure it out, but if its simply not doable..

so a daw takes over and forces the audio through the system and sonarworks, wonder if there could be a small program that achieved playing "daw" like a sort of mini-host. to avoid having to start a freakin daw and create channels etc just to monitor an instruments input

use a wave editor? And even if you do want to use your DAW; you could create a small template project with all your stuff for your hardware sessions setup in a few clicks each time you start work.
