Hey guys I'm looking for a plugin that will move freqs & level out of the way of vocals. Like Waves F6.
I can't use Waves because of my Frankenstein MacBook Pro 17" Mid 2010 with Big Sur. I can't use Waves v11 because I have Big Sur installed and I can't use v13 because my Mid 2010 is not a metal graphics card.
So I'm basically looking for a F6 alternative.

    Thanx in Advance

    you mean EQ right?
well Fabfilter Q3, or maybe more AI things such as Gulfoss, Soothe etc to remove harshness

? As to my measurements it's capable of true 24bit.

Sorry for confusion, I meant in terms of controls. You don't have individual bands(Except selecting freq range), no fine edits. It's fair because it's made for that purpose "To Create Space".

Izotope Neutron's masking feature helps you do that easily

Hey odd thanx for your input. However what I'm looking for is something like Waves F6 where I can send the vocal track to it as a side chain and will surprise the frequencies out of the vocals way so the Vox and stand clear.. And also something that will do the sane for the vocals level.

That's exactly what you can do with Pro Q3. You don't have control over attack/release/ratio, but the automatic settings in Pro Q3 works perfectly for 95% of the use cases (especially what you are talking about).

Wavesfactory Trackspacer is more specifically designed for what you are trying to achieve, but I find myself using Pro Q3 most of the time anyways.

Edit: Here's a video of some guy using Pro Q3 for ducking instruments under a vocal

 Oh man you were talking about that? I thought it was about a dynamic eq. Then you'll be ok with neutron but that thing is a bit heavy. Focusrite fast reveal / Trackspacer and soothe is great for that.

Thanx guys but it's Wavesfactory's Trackspacer for me. It even does a much better and easier job than Waves F6.
I also love Wavesfactory's Spectre! It's a different kind of EQ for my mixing.
Thanx BigM once again your advice is dead on. I already have the Fabfilter suite and I have always liked Q3, but it's quite a bit of a hog on my old Mid 2010 Frankenstein MacBook Pro with Big Sur on it.
That's also the reason I can't use any version of Waves.

    Thanx Again

Most of the time I will use a Fabfilter plugin where you will approach the task with a Waves plugin. But if you are going to stick with Mac (you should) , you have to spend some time really learning Logic. The times you reach for a Waves plugin will be less and less, as you familiarize yourself with the EQ's, the Compressors, and even other simple, but important; things like Spread, Enveloper, Modulator, the Adaptive Limiter, and others.

The Logic books by David Nahmani are great, and he also answers any good questions you may have on the forums.

Take care not to use too short timings (not less than 9 o'clock position) and not too much amount (not more than 15) or it will create a whole lot of artifacts.

Just click on his name and then on Start a Conversation, should work.
