I would like some advice on how to fully utilise my UAD plugins, both within Cubase & Logic Pro...

It would seem that you need to go open the console and inset the plugins there instead of in your daw?

Seems a shame to just leave the UAD plugins and not use them

Any help would be appreciated

 

I mean the ones prior to UAD Spark coming out, the ones that came with the Apollo Twin MKII, Autotune, LA-2a etc...those ones

 

interfaces like this have Low Latency DSP. This can be utilized in a way which allows you to apply effects to an incoming signal while it is recorded. It does not mean the plugins do not load in your DAW. Or in Luna, additionally to your cubase and logic.

 

Open them in your DAW, exactly the same as any other third-party plugin.

You only need to use them in Console if you want to track through them, for low latency.

 

if you have custom vst plugin path (the plugin folder with all the DLL´s)
you have to copy the uad ones from the uad folder or
c:program file/ steinber/ vst
to your prefered location

then you should see, in the daw of your choice, a folder named
Uad Powered plugins or something like that
they look and behave like normal vst. exept that proceccing is done on the uad hardware
and to see the effect of each plugin there should be an aplett from uad
that shows you the amount/meter of dsp left on each dsp
iE Duo, quad, Octo
