Cubase 11 extended & spire 1.5.11

Discussion in 'Software' started by Vincent Price, May 16, 2022.

  1. Hello everyone

I am wondering if anyone can help me. I have just installed Cubase extended 11 and upon opening it up, it says that Spire 1.5.11 isn't supported anymore as it is x32 and not x64

I know when I had Cubase 11 pro it used to do this with Synthmaster, but all I used to do was to reactivate it and it would be fine. When I try and reactivate Spire it goes from the blacklist onto the main list of instruments but is highlighted in red and then Cubase crashes...

Evert since that happened when I have opened Cubase again, it has said asked me if I want to use current programme preferences, disable them or delete them...when I chose one, it goes back to opening cubase up...but part way through Cubase just shuts down.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Hello @GreyMakesMusic, I would uninstall Spire and install this version:
Reveal Sound Spire v1.5.11.5226 Incl Patched and Keygen-R2R.
Make sure you install the 64 bit version.

  4. Will do, thanks

  5. Could you advice how to uninstall?

  6. I just realised I never told you I was on Mac

If you find a Uninstaller(unis000) use it.

    C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Reveal Sound\Spire

Please Delete all Files into (it's a Hidden Folder):
    C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\RevealSound

After that restart the PC, and intsall the Spire 64 Bit.

You've hit the jackpot. Sorry i am not a Mac User.

    Step 1 :
Move Reveal Sound Spire v1.0.15 WiN MacOSX-R2R application to Trash and then delete it
First of all you need to move your application to “Trash” and this can be done as follows:
Log in using administrative account--> Click Finder icon in your dock--> Select “Applications in left pane” nad choose the application which you want to remove then Drag the program to “Trash” icon that is present in your dock. After that delete the item from trashcan too.

    Step 2:
Removing Preferences and Reveal Sound Spire v1.0.15 WiN MacOSX-R2R application support files

Now you have to delete all the related files present in preferences pane and application support files folder. These files are present in two of the libraries- Library in Top level of hard disk and Library in Home Folder. You need to remove all the related files from both of the libraries.

    Step 3:
Delete hidden files and kernel extensions associated with Reveal Sound Spire v1.0.15 WiN MacOSX-R2R program

This is the most critical step of the manual uninstallation and one wrong step can be very risky so delete those files only which you are confirmed that it is related to the application which you want to remove. And for safety keep a copy of the file before deleting it. Hidden files start with (.) period in its name. These extensions and hidden files are present in the library and home folder.

  9. I have sorted it now, thanks
