Hello guys. I installed Cubase 12, I think it was the Cubase Pro.12.0.20.Pre.Activated.TC.TEAM version, and I noticed that when I create a wav from a vst, it always has the pitch changed, or when I export tracks by tracks to Cubase, the pitch is also always changed.
That the ways to correct? I've tried a lot and I can't solve it.
I was using Cubase5 and everything was fine!

Its probably because musical mode is turned on by default for audio events. It should not happen on rendering though, just importing and exporting. Musical mode changes tempo of an event to project tempo of daw, but if the warp algorithm is tape mode then the pitch changes as well. You can check if its turned on in the info line that appears on top when you select an event.

On which Hz are you working 44.1, 48 or different...?

My soundcard is in 48hz, and the cubase too.

I've already fiddled with this part of the algorithm and it doesn't seem to make any changes. Even when I export the melody I created to wav, it doesn't export completely, well it exports completely but it reduces with the pitch and I have to stretch the audio and make ''tape'' to correct it. I don't think there should be any kind of change. At least in Cubase5 I export, and it stays the same.

Export to the sample rate that you are using. 48khz is the video standard. 44.1kHz is the Redbook Audio standard. If you play 44.1 at 48 clock speed (or viceversa) there will be a pitch/time difference.

I already changed it to 44.1, when I create a new song, I'll see if it stays in the export.

thanks to everyone! I hope this is the problem.
