What plugin is your secret weapon ?

    definitely this one. not exactly secret, but correctly functioning latency compensation is great if you are making samples :)

    More a technique than exclusively a plugin, but for more kickdrum transient audibility, put a gate on bassline, sidechain to kick, up to 20ms delay, and when both hit together the transients are well divided and each got its microspace, creating a funky cluster of sound. Its a subtle effect, but for me a musthave in every project!

    I discovered Zynaptiq Intensity because of your post. Thanks! Loving it for subtle use on the master bus (like 10% intensity). Kinda gives it a bit of extra somethin somethin that you usually get from hardware. Almost like it gives it extra depth and dimension or something. Hard to describe

    Too much 'intensity' (say over 40%) kills the transient punch too much for mastering purposes. But 10-15% goes a long way
