Well in that case you cannot call it creation because that implies that there is a creator.:dunno:

If there is a creator - then who created the creator.
Or in other words where does the universe end ? Since it has no end - there is also no beginning.

If God doesn't exist why do elite people worship baal, yahuah Bla Bla Bla kabal stuff. Why does skull and bones exist etc etc

You have to be an idiot to beiuwve they are doing it for fun. You might even be the seed of the fallen... Maybe god had no place in you. Let's talk about why some have an affinity for death & destruction while others don't?

No need to talk about the universe to see God. If the devil exist then God exists
Now if you think good and evil are social construct. Then know you are the seed of the fallen who survived the flood, escaped to the moon or some shite

There are two seeds on this planet those who want peace and those who love death and destruction who hide behind religion. Hint hint hint.

It is the world of dualism, one does not exist without the other.
You can define good only if there is evil, you can explain hot only because there is cold.

The world is diverse and with each new day the world becomes even more diverse.
There is a force called life energy - others call it space energy.
Some believe and pray - others believe and do not pray.
You have a free will and can do good or do bad.

We've come a long way.
Maybe we're even ready for presidential style debates. Some of the essential ingredients are clearly on display.

OK, I must admit it's getting harder to withstand. * :guru:

    1. It has an end.
The light intensity decreases with the square of the distance. However, if the universe were infinite, it would be populated by an infinite number of stars.
That this is not so, one can observe every night: The sky is dark. If the universe would be infinite, the night sky would have to be dazzlingly bright due to the above facts.
    2. And it will end:
Everything in the universe inevitably strives towards entropy. The universe ends when maximum entropy is reached.

*) The discussion has now reached a significant level of entropy itself!

Don't get caught up in this creator discussion. If you ask the question in such a way, you would admit that there was a creator.
    However, there was not.
Again, the universe originated in the big bang from a point with infinitely high mass and energy. Before there was no space and no time. Therefore there was simply no place for a creator. Sorry.
    Problem solved.

I promised myself to stay out of these threads, I should adhere to my principles to never discuss religion or politics on the net (or with people I don't know well anyhow), but this is plainly wrong.

To our current knowledge, thanks to cosmological inflation, accelerating expansion of the universe due to dark matter, the speed of light, and finite time since big bang, there's a limit "how far" we can see called the "observable universe". The universe might as well be infinite but we would never know, not now, not ever.

Look up said "observable universe" and "particle horizon" if you don't believe me.

Agree except for one detail - 'accelerating expansion is due to dark energy - not dark matter'
    Both are intriguing.

    Hello @phumb-reh!

The universe, it expands and expands and follows certain laws of nature. Now and then is also little coincidence in the game, if so a meteorite crashes to earth and the dinosaurs to extinction brought, well luck for our species we would have been otherwise dino food.

Good that the big animals were gone and so we could continue our triumphal procession, which on the one hand brought forward many inventions but was also very destructive and still is. We even developed a Hubble telescope to see how it looks further away up there.

Recently a robot was on Mars, quite far away without warp drive. It doesn't look great on the planets either. There I find the earth here nevertheless a more beautiful place to the life. Imagine you travel to the end of the universe, there comes a sign where it says, here is the end of the universe, of course multilingual. Joking aside.

That can also be good if you have arrived at the end, you come out again at the beginning. The worm extinguishers and other black extinguishers are a mystery to me, maybe there are several dimensions after all, maybe not like our world, but immaterial.

I find the human creativity and our thinking is like the universe, namely boundless and endless.

Given that 'Big Bang' has been mentioned several times... for anyone that's interested...
Plenty of healthy, serious cosmology speculation is still on the table.
As rival or related hypotheses to 'Big Bang' see 'Big Bounce'. (not joking :))
These hypotheses are not 'conflicting with' observations of what has happened since the moments immediately following what we identify as the Big Bang instant, but they are speculating about the instant itself and even possible interpretations of 'before' (which as twoheart says is seriously complicated by the Big Bang instant being regarded as the origins of our local spacetime)

See for example, 'Conformal Cyclic Cosmology' by Roger Penrose, which is just one variant of several 'origin theories' that you could put in the 'Big Bounce' category.

And then for related poetic curiosity, you can also include Hindu models of a cyclic universe in the 'Big Bounce' bag.
It's obviously unreasonable to expect any scientific rigour in the Hindu narratives, but you have to be seriously impressed at someone speculating along those 'cyclic universe' lines a few thousand years before Christianity was invented.

Brain fart, yeah I meant dark energy. Dark matter would slow expansion down because it works with gravity I think (I'm not sure if this has been hypothesied though).

Very true and all of these are extremely interesting. In my mind the actual "big bang" is something we can only speculated and the big bang is, what as you said, something that happens next. In our current knowledge that's inflation, but even then we have several models of that. So we think that something akin to inflation happened, which created the universe as it appears to us now.

Speaking of Penrose, his book "The Emperor's New Mind" is a fantastic exploration of AI and even though it's 30 years old a lot of it holds up even nowadays, especially given todays AI boom (though it's not AI, it's pattern recognition and machine learning).

You might find the "Anthropic Principle" interesting (especially the weak variant), which basically states that we are here to observe the universe because it happens to be one that can sustain life like us. If it wasn't good for us then we wouldn't be here at all so we can only see universes that are conductive to our existence.

Is God an intelligent being watching over our souls? could very well be the case, it's not debunked.

I never became a better human being from that mad science stuff. Did made me look highly intelligent.
Opening up for the intention of 'coincidence' does make me a better human being. To have inner-peace with unexplained things. And I get those on a regular basis.
God gives meaning to our existence, much more important to me than those creeps of mankind telling me otherwise.
"Us scientists do not have a problem with creation, we just don't like that one God."

When it isn't 'big crunch' or 'big chill' or 'big rip'
But one thing is for sure: No man on earth or anywhere will be able to observe it. So it doesn't really matter.

And after the end of the universe there will be a big bang again sometime and
everything starts again from the beginning. Life arises anew until the next one.
