Gummi bzw Vinyl und Gipsplatte im Sandwich. Nicht vergessen die Spalten im Gips abzudichten. Und daran denken, dass Schrauben auch Vibrationen leiten. :winker:

Thanks @Sinus Well, for your valuable tip.
I would have liked to have 5 mm vinyl but it currently sold out in Germany.

Double skin some drywall if you have the space.
It'll take maybe two or three inches off the room (including the track) the new stuff is, I'm my experience, very soundproofing and is also thermal insulating, depending on the grade you get. Put two layers back to back.
There's many many grades to choose from.
If you want overkill fill the space created by the track with Rockwool but DO NOT pack it in as it needs some space to work.
    That should do it :)

Build an extra brick wall and fill it up with sand behind it.

Polyurethane foam against the wall, and finish with dry wall with bottom, side and top rubber ending to further prevent propagation of sound waves.

Thanks @Benno de Bruin, for the radical idea, unfortunately I live here for rent and am not allowed to build a brick wall.

@BEAT16 - can you make any structural alterations?

If not then maybe a few rugs on the wall (tacks to hold them up and hang them criss-cross style for more depth - easily taken down and easy to make the wall good) and then a well stocked floor to ceiling book case along the wall - cheap and cheerful and can be very cool.

Thanks @MarkyMW, for the tip with the carpets and shelves. I had also already thought through, but the wall is very large and I do not have enough books. I was going to buy 5 floor standing shelves first and then put thick carpets behind the shelves. I will keep an eye on that.

Thanks @Xupito for your help, sometimes I turn the music up a bit and drown out the noise.
But that doesn't work anymore when it's after 9pm.
