It's weird only Antares Auto Key doesn't launch.



Funnily I've tested all the other Antares .AU plugins they all work, except Auto-Key which won't open.

I've reinstalled still not working.

I wrote to Antares they replied:

"Thank you for reaching out to us.

Unfortunately, our plugins at not compatible with macOS 12 (Monterey) at the moment. We plan to release an update for them to ensure compatibility soon.

We suggest you subscribe to our newsletter to stay informed on any news regarding our upcoming compatibility updates. "

I can't believe they're still not up-to-date... macOS 12 has been out for almost a year!

 

Well, at least the company still exists. Good support is a real matter of luck.
I read an article where the editor writes you should not update anymore.
At least not if you have ongoing projects, you should also not update Windows.

Antares are one of the worst developers to adapt to new situations, they just added big sur support when Monterey was announced or even launched, i can't remember..
Not to mention their lack of support of the new M1 chip architecture, even other companies, that uses iLok like Slate, who have way more plugins to compile and adjust code for - have already transitioned and support apple silicon and Monterey.

The fact they also use the shitty CodeMeter protection doesnt play in their favour as well, I now use Slate's Metatune instead of the OG antares autotune since they are just a hassle to use and to be honest just not worth the price, i will probably sell my autotune license.
I guess Antares is getting old

Metatune looks gorgeous I'm gonna try it too, 10 bucks a month for the Slate package, hard to beat indeed!!
