For those interested in a mix contest or, just free multi-tracks see the following...

Welcome to the “Open My Eyes” Remix Contest

In the summer of ’68 , Todd Rundgren and his band, NAZZ, released a song awash with tape flanging called “Open My Eyes.” The flanging effect played a key role in Eventide’s genesis. In our founding year, 1971, we introduced audio’s first rack mount effects box, the Instant Phaser, which emulated tape flanging. And, in 1975, the Instant Flanger. Our early studio flangers had many fans, none more enthusiastic than a young Todd Rundgren, as demonstrated in these photos of Todd visiting our NYC office back in 1972.

Remix the “Open My Eyes” stems provided by Eventide to create a new and unique track utilizing Eventide effects. Don’t own any Eventide plug-ins? Get a free 30-day demo here. Please note an iLok account is required to activate the demo license. To get a free iLok account, visit www.ilok.com.

Still I prefer this marketing over "mask plugin", "AI-god plugin" etc anytime
That being said, Eventide plugs are really good but for my slow PC what they open up is my CPU

This goes without saying. The up side is free multi-tracks and, for those who like entering contest to win prizes well, there is that.

I have used them to create classical effects for drum samples. Like the classic Techno clap with the harmonizer on the TR909 clap, its perfect for that.

I doubt that! :rofl:It runs fine without ilokshit.

Grabbed the stems, maybe i have some phun with the stems ...

For those who don't know: If you download the files and find the vocals sound like chipmunks in your DAW, It's because you'll need to set your project sample rate to 88.2 kHz.

You can just downsample/convert to 48kHz/24-bit without any perceivable loss (easy enough in Reaper & Pro Tools).
What you gain is headroom for system resources for plugins.

To be honest, I've never mixed at 88.2kHz, for me it's either 48kHz or 96kHz.

Same here. That sample rate is one that audiophiles tend to use for some reason.

Are you sure? I thought that 88.2 was just a 44.1 friendly higher sample rate. Kind of a legacy CD-projects higher sample rate alternative to 96
