Bias FX LE is free now. However, after you fill in the form and click the Redeem Now button, nothing will happen.

Hello, I had the same problem, but it was not the internet ad blocker. And I bring you the solution in case someone has the same problem . If you downloaded bias fx or bias amp from sister site. The installer blocks various addresses of the Positive grid website. What you need to do is go to Windows/System32/etc and edit the Hosts file and remove all positive grid addresses. Because it will not let you log in from the app when you have it installed either.

I installed several versions a long time ago, most of them are from VR and I think there is only one from R2R. It doesn't say if it adds them automatically or there is a .bat file you have to run to get them added, but they were there in the file. But wait!... I also usually download from a famous torrent page that we all know "ru". And I think they are from the same teams and they upload it to torrents. I usually download from there when sister site links go down.

PS: Congratulations on your promotion, I saw it a long time ago when I had left, I always followed the forum, and I saw when you were promoted, I was really happy.

 

R2R sometimes adds a cmd file to block a developer via the hosts file so the plugin can't call home but you have to click on it to execute it. But since I haven't dl'ed bias fx or amp I wasn't 100% in this case.

You're right, apparently it's from R2R, but I can't be sure, I'm a fan of VSTs, vst that comes out, vst that I install, and maybe I don't use it anymore xD. But looking at a disk where I keep backup I had most of R2R with a warning that if I needed to block the addresses I did it manually. Maybe I did and I don't remember.
