i only want the omnisphere core pack (50GB), is there a way to delete / remove the other libraries that is contained in the omnisphere steam pack? (which currently is 82GB)

We had this discussion here once again.

Answer short : nope

A bit longer.

Omnisphere needs everything and will give you an error message when you delete anything from the steam folder.

one more thing, is like for an example 'nick mira' sample was included, is this like necessary?

 

If it's in the normal installer, yes.
(the startup is like a checklist and if anything misses errors and more errors )

I personally hope that with Omni 3 this will change, but this will be probably in some years

But to help you a bit further, you can simply move the whole steam folder to an external Drive.
And even a SD card works for this (without any major disadvantages in read speed )
