AA's licensing system is weird, i've run into other strange behaviours (nothing harmful to the customer), so it's kind of hard to know wether the 30-day plus trial thing is intentional or not (it's not only you, that's just the way it works). It should be 30-days as they say in their site, but who knows?

Don't think about it too much, but if you're past the 30 days you should really consider buying the thing.

here and there serials shared between multiple different accounts are banned. The system is rather relaxed though. I suggest to buy before it happens!

My goodness, that sounds almost like something out of a mafia movie. "Our employees are currently quite patient, but I would advise you to pay the protection rates on time. We don't want anything to happen to you, do we?"
Michel has just told you that your system is broken. People with good manners usually say, "Thank you. This was a mistake on my part. I hope you enjoyed the extended trial period and like our product. We would be happy to welcome you as a new customer."

If you got a demo for 30, you will use it as a demo and just try it, and maybe like it and buy it, without trying to start a demo again, because it's not suppose to work that way.

If you pass the demo time and try again to keep run another 30 day trial period, that mean you didn't buy it after the first try, and so you probably didn't plan to buy it.

But because now it's "free", you start using it, and after a few month, you will get use to have the plugin and it will become part of your workflow, and at some point, the demo will stop and you'll be "forced" to buy it because you need it now.

Maybe that's some sort of marketing tricks, like a drug dealer giving free drugs until you get hooked, but that just a theory :)

Man, just appreciate the gesture and move on with your day.
@giancarlo gets a regularly figurative beating for no reason at GS already, let us be cool and reasonable here!

And to be exact. Michel did not use Acustica support service to report it, but instead went on a public forum to ask everybody in here,
seems fair for a developer to point out an obvious risk for this way of going about things.
Could it be that instead of the bug, your trial periods got refreshed because of updates to the plugin?

Sometimes it randomly asks for a register and it doesn't seem to work. I don't know why

Thank you all for responding... I think it's an acoustic error or a hook to force me to buy the accessories... but I've been using them for 6 months now, I'm going to wait until the last minute to buy the ones I

Join their Facebook page and follow them, they have completely changed their sales. They have weekend and 24h sales with really low prices.
They sold Taupe for 49$ two months or so ago. Coral2 for 39$ etc and if you have a discount as their customer you can get it for even lower.

I don't know what's going on at GS. And it's not about bashing someone for no reason. It's about how a developer communicates with users. In the end, it doesn't matter if the message is taken as a warning or a threat, because it contains an ultimatum. And that is an absolute no-go! With the aggression that is not infrequently contained in @giancarlo messages, it is no wonder that he takes a verbal beating. That is no way to deal with customers.

It doesn't matter if a user uses the official support. Sure, it would have been the right thing to do in this case, since it might be a security vulnerability. But it assumes that the user has the maturity, integrity and experience to be aware of this and what it means for the company in question. Something that may not be given, because on the other side could be a 14 year old child. However, in the end, it is not up to the user to behave professionally, but up to the professional.
