It is really available. Preorder now, wait maybe 3-4 weeks for stock, start making music. Again, they can't control the component supply chain.

You sound very upset that you can't get your hands on this gear, at the same time being upset at Behringer's business practices. It's confusing.

I'm not worried about "useless blabbing", I'm enjoying the six analog synth clones I've already purchased. Stay mad and keep complaining about the other ones that haven't been built yet, I guess.

 

You're playing with words: saying “Item not available” and “Item in preorder” mean the same thing: the gear is not on the market.
I have never said that Behringer clones are bad, I am targeting the questionable marketing strategies and controversial business messes that Uli subjects us to. I am a Behringer customer and I have every right to complain about this, you are a customer too and it seems impossible that you dont see these flaws

After all, during long time Pro Tools worked this way: you had to buy the software AND a minimum of Digidesign / Avid hardware (audio interfaces and/or PCI cards), the first wasn't working without the second.

(There was also at a moment the possibility to use non-Digidesign hardware, but only as a secondary interface. The Pro Tools compatible interface had to be always connected for the software accepted to work. In fact, the hardware plays the role of a dongle.)

(It reminds me that at a time, a genius cr*cking Team / guy have discovered a way to emulate the presence of a connected PT generic hardware on Mac, so that you were able to use any audio interface with PT. I think the first time I saw it it was with (kked) PT 9... What a glorious time!)

(But back to the subject, my question is: ) Do you think Uli could be capable of doing something like that?

 

Consider your music stores and distributors garbage. There's 30+ sold on Thomann, which is probably how many they initially stocked.

The teasing game was well explained and everyone but you knew that it's just 3D renders and mockups, and there could easily be 2-3 years worth of wait until actual release. Some of the "teasing" was literally just them acquiring the original synths and posting a picture of them on Facebook, with no comment. If you're among the people that thing this means there's a clone that's confirmed to be released, and it's going to be on sale a month later, idk what to tell you.

You're free to be more useful than him, show us how you can do better.

About any other announced clone:
There is a big difference between teasing a clone mockup or saying "we're almost ready to sell it".
Example: Behringer PRO 800 demo update. In the video, beta tester says: …. we really hope to release the synth in the next few months (Jan 22, 2021). Have you seen it?

I could link you to a long list of their fake release dates (Facebook posts, Youtube videos), but let's stop it here. If you think I am poorly informed about the Behringer distribution you are completely wrong.

There are 2 options left to explain your desperate urge to hide this problem

• you don't know what you're talking about
• You are Uli's girlfriend

In conclusion, I am convinced that this new DAW exists only in Uli's mind but not even a line of code has been written yet, I will begin to believe in this project only when the first beta version appears in download from Music Tribe

And? Products go out of stock when all are sold out, and then there's a waiting time before next units arrive. You can see 11 reviews there, so obviously there are people who bought theirs already.

Exactly, that's the point: we are now experiencing a global market crisis. The only one who has not noticed this (or who does not want to admit it) is Uli, who continues to make fun of his customers by promising gear that he cannot deliver

 

Mate, I promise you this will be really unlikely. Pro Tools had the advantage of less competition thus being able to exploit the trust they gained.
Behringer has no trust to begin with, they are literally starting from the bottom because they produced cringe until the synth replicas

 

It is not inflation but a shortage of goods.
Lies and false promises are part of Uli's business. He makes himself quite unpopular with them.
