hi ,when i want to Patch the Kontakt Version 6.7.1 with the included Patcher in the bob dule release the Kontakt application Symbol wont show up , just the documentation Folder .

I can not Patch the VST 3 and the Standalone .

When i just click Patch it says : Target file wasnt found ! Do you want to select it ?

when i hit yes , i go to the Folder but the Kontakt is not there .



When i go to the Folder with the Browser everything is there :


The Standalone works....but it crashed my Cubase 12 so i think the Patching Process was not successful or am i wrong ?

 

My Cubase 12 crashes everytime i want to use the Bob dule Kontakt release , i have one instance of Kontakt in my main production Template , everytime when i want to open it , cubase scan the plugins and chrashes when it scans the Kontakt vst .

When i start Cubase 12 with an empty Project i can add every VST , when i add a Kontakt it will Crash to 70 % .

when the patcher is looking for Kontakt.dll you point the exe
read the file type.

the Kontakt Release will still Crash my Cubase , ive also tried 6.7.0 Rev 3 , its the same , still crashing and the Standalone wont show up when i try to open it .

i´ve been back to Your Version 6.6.1 and have no issues , the Standalone and the VST is working fine .

only problem with this is a can´t use any new NI Librarys ,but for now its Just Playbox .

I hope we can find a Fix for this issue in the Future , anyway many many Thank you for the releases

I just can say i have C12(R2R) on win 10 pro with bob's Kontakt 6.7.1 running without any problem vst2, vst3 and the Stanadalone. When installing i only patched the vst2(.dll) in the vst folder! I think there is no need to patch anything else!?

 

Thats because the patcher is looking for the .dll! ...look in the vst folder!!!

 

I have tried again to install the Kontact version 6.7.1 of Bob Dule since there was also an update on the part of Cubase (12.0.20).
I thought that this update might fix the crashes.
Have installed the Bobdule Kontakt release correctly and the patch process has worked flawlessly.
Unfortunately Cubase still crashes randomly when opening a Kontakt instance .
Sometimes it works and sometimes Cubase shuts down .
I really don't know what to do anymore.

Do you have any ideas what to try to solve the problem?

 

These 2 comments solved the "Target wasn't found" problem for me.

I don't know why i didn't think of it myself. I assumed the patcher would have the right filetype associations by default already
