Survey - Are you for sale

The question is: For how much money would you give up the computer and your music forever?

I'll start with my answer: I wouldn't give up my computers and my music for any money in the world.

 

If given enough to become a despot tyrant I would give up computers and making music forever.

I would of course still listen to music while in bed 15 wenches deep, being fanned by more painted naked wenches with peacock feathers and so on. Most likely chamber music being played by musicians in formal wear strapped to their chairs wearing electroshock collars with armed men pointing weapons at their heads should they play an off note. I do enjoy my baroque chamber music.

That's just for a start.

 

Have to say, same for me. The past few months I haven’t been able to create in the same way, problems at home, work a nightmare etc… but this past week have started back playing with it (been playing live still) as having a few weeks off, and god I have missed it!

 

I'm available at a steep discount.

 

I would give up my computer for enough money to buy a better computer. Gotta upload all the valuables to the cloud first.

I would give up musicmaking for thrice the enough money to live a happy life somewhere in Norway.

 

Being a Professional means you're already for sale..

 

I wouldn't give it up because it comes from 2017, and it is ~50$ worth.
The Cuisinart CPT-440 and Frigidaire Professional 4-Slice Toaster each cost $100.

I only do it for money now anyway, I've been sick of it for years. Give me a quarter of a million not to have to work and I'm there

i don't think so, no.
while music is "one" of the hobbies for me, it is the most prominent one. some years ago i used to lurk around the library and spend all the time possible using their pc, went into music stores playing synths, etc (no, i cannot play the guitar D: ) when i had no money to even pay for food.

as @ArticStorm wisely said, does money really matter, if our souls are empty? i realized many years ago that cash is just a mean to get to the goal, not the goal itself.

of course, in this "game" the condition would be to "stop completely producing music". but then again, can i hum a melody? can i bang a stick on a rock? can i combine these two and make some new music? eheh

It's easy to say "money don't matter" when aren't under a threat of starving.
