    Short answer: No!
Can you use a host in Cantabile 2 to load VST3 plugins? Yes! Probably so. Just try it out.

    any reason for this?
Why would one use jbridge to run 64-bit plugins on a 64-bit system in an antiquated sample converter is beyond me. VST2 x64 works in Beats and it's easy enough to sample all you need. Is there any reason you use ESC specifically?

It's on sale for $3 at the moment. And instructions for compiling are provided. They used to provide builds completely free and hope users would want a Pro version that's paid, but that didn't happen so they do this instead. You actually would need a $149 Pro version prior to this change, since it was free as standalone only (not as a plugin that you can use as a VST3-VST2 bridge). So you can consider it on a sale for 98% off.

Edit: Someone also kept the links to the last free installer. Kushview Element - free open source VST3 to VST2 bridge for Reason - ReasonTalk.com

That's what I'm trying to use in Cantabile 2 with no luck. Can you explain me how do you use it?

Vst3 is just an extension. If a plugin exports VSTPluginMain or main function it most likely also works as a VST2 plugin natively without any kind of bridging. u-he plugins do this, but this is rare.
