Hi guys,

I love the SE 02 sequencer so I wanna use it to sequence some of my synth VSTs.

What is your workflow when it comes to using the SE 02 sequencer in DAW (Ableton)? I'm running the SE 02 through USB audio.

I managed to make it work as per SEQ Setup:

- select SEQ mode on synth
- press both Note + Gate
- press 2 and select USB



What I find annoying though is that, as soon as I move onto the next Sequence preset, the SEQ Setup settings are reset (it loses the fact that I pressed USB) and I lose the Sync: as a result, the SE 02 no longer triggers my VST synth, and I have to go through the same SEQ Setup steps again with the next Sequence and save again...

Is this real, there's no global SEQ Setup for ALL Sequence presets to be saved at once? I have to go through these steps each time I select another Sequence?

It's kind of missing the point, since the fun lies in quickly browsing from one SE 02 Sequence to another while testing out my VST synth with it.

My question also applies to [1] Destination and [3] Key Trigger by the way, similarly, is there not Master settings for it, instead of having to save them one by one for each Sequence?

You wanna use this for VSTI ???? the se 02 sequencer I think you mean the Roland one is a simple step Sequenzer with gate note velocity...U can use 100s of Step Sequenzer in m4l free library that works easier and better ...This step Sequenzer is only fun for internal cause it has Step Automation but only internally....

And if you want the sequences from the se record them as midiclips and fire them from there

Okay thanks let's forget about it then indeed would you recommend a couple nice m4l sequencers to make interesting melodies in electronic music? Free or paid. Something simple to use but than can create complex melodies (yet not cause instant chaos). And would pair well with the sound design of the SE 02. Cheers!
